Reading many of these negative ,and insensitive readers' comments about how dare any of us grieve for Heath Ledger's accidental death....It is a truly sad day on this earth when we are chastised for feeling pain, over the loss of this incredibly, gifted young man. To experience this pain and express our empathy towards his ex-fiance' , their daughter, and his family's grief, is a reflection of our humanness. I hope to God that we, as human beings, always have the capacity to "feel" our emotions towards each other.

Its more than just reading a script, its the emotion that actors put into it, that give a character life... Heath Ledger, was one of my favorite actors and its was his work from The Patriot that made that decision . Its sad and a loss to lose anyone at such a young age. In my opinion anyone who thinks he just got paid for doing his job is jealous, beacuse he was doing something he loved and respected... may god be with his family and friends, he will be missed!

You're ALL wrong!!! No kind of drugs, legal or otherwise killed Heath Ledger, period!!! He had been ill with the flu/pneumonia and continued to work in London, in the cold and in the rain, which worsened his symptoms and weakened his heart, he should've been on strick bed rest until he recovered, but it was too late, his heart couldn't take any more, it stopped in his sleep....yes, even the very young die of heart attaacks and strokes...this I do know...

Mr. Ledgers death was sad, and I feel for his family becasue like most people, I have lost someone very near and dear to me. But get a grip, you didn't know him, he didn't know you, there are many other tragedies and sad deaths to focus your energy on. The same day he died there was a report of a house fire that killed a whole family, including two or three small children. Where is the public outcry for them? Whether deliberate or not, his death is being blamed on insomnia, sleeping pills and a recent movie roll that was stressful. I hate to see how much sooner he would have died if he had to deal with real stresses, like not having a maid or a masseuse, and a stressful job that actually contributed to society. Sad? Yes. Worth complete strangers crying over him and saying they miss him? No. If you really want to show your empathy, don't carry on like you really lost something which IMO is a huge insult to his friends and family that really did lose something.

I'm sure there are people just like Heath that die everyday. The only difference is that he was famous and others may not be as fortunate. People should take life for what it is...everyone lives and dies...don't get so caught up in the stars anymore...we're all human, only some are more gifted, but as you all see, we're all still human...live life as if it's your last day, don't dwell in the past...

Why not just leave your UGLY comments to yourself?????? Maybe someday those of you who are pointing the finger will experience such a tradgedy. Say some prayers for his family. My God people are so flippin heartless now. Life can be taken from you in a blink of an eye. Each day is a gift. Take it from someone who knows. The everyday stuff means nothing anymore. God Bless your sweet soul Heath, you were such a blessing. You left behind a beautiful daughter (your Clone). God Bless

THE PRESCRIPED DRUGS DID NOT KILL HIM!! IT WAS OTHER DRUGS!! I BELIEVE THIS IN MY HEART. YOU DO NOT FIND A 20 DOLLAR BILL ROLLED-UP AND EXPECT NOTHING TO COME FROM.

Report This! Okay. For one this is about heath Ledger. Not about your ability to attain a degree with Marijuana. Second its a degree in geology wow Rocks dont move so you have lots of time to study them.....
I was talking about drugs because there were people basically calling him a druggie. I was offering a counterpoint that not all people who drugs are bad mmkay. Geology is not the study of rocks, it is the study of Earth and all of its processes. You know Earth, that planet that we all reside upon. Also, actually there are these rocks in Death Valley that are moving. And I know you are a doctor so please give us your opinion on how this guy died.

ANYWAYS. I believe that It was not suicide, and i continue to believe that. They were prescriptions, and if the doctor failed to see what kind of reactions they would have with other drugs then it is malpractice, and they should have their licenses revoked and booted of the board of medicine.
I have no degrees but i have a severe bad habit of obtaining pill books when they get released for family purposes, and they give you a list of Direct interactions with other drugs, I don't believe they will release the names of the prescriptions he was on, because people like me will find out that it was (maybe...or if you prefer in my opinion) that the doctors prescribed drugs to him that interacted badly with the others, and killed him.
This is just my opinion, and to be honest i hope i am wrong.

If you're old enough, perhaps you should have a drink, along with your MaryJane.
I need to shower now. Cheers!
I don't drink. Everytime I even have only one drink, the next day my whole body hurts. Alcohol is bad for my condition, so thanks I'll stick with the MJ. Yea you do need to shower...I can smell you from here.
