(June 23) - The most lucrative superhero of them all is swinging back into theaters -- but he's not dusting off those red and blue tights just yet.
Johnny Depp cast in 'Pirates of the Caribbean 4,' 'Alice in Wonderland' & 'Lone Ranger'
Depp will reprise his role as swashbuckling, rum-swilling Captain Jack in a fourth 'Pirates' flick, play the tea-party-loving Mad Hatter in Tim Burton's live-action 'Alice in Wonderland' and play the Lone Ranger's sidekick Tonto in Jerry Bruckheimer's 'Lone Ranger.'

Rachel McAdams cast in 'Sherlcok Holmes'

"Spider-Man" producer Laura Ziskin revealed on Thursday that the fourth installment of the the $2.5 billion-grossing franchise is tentatively scheduled to bow three years from now in May 2011,
The Los Angeles Times reports.
While addressing a group of California and Nevada theater owners, Ziskin said that she and Sony were confident that "Spider-Man 4" could be ready in three years, despite the fact that the screenplay, which is being penned by "Zodiac" scribe James Vanderbilt, is not yet complete.
In addition, the key players from the first three films -- stars Tobey Maguire and Kirsten Dunst and director Sam Raimi -- have yet to sign on for the fourth chapter in the web-slinging saga.
