How do you put him on the down low, when he left his first wife for the nanny. I am gay, I came out in the early 70's when it was very difficult, but I am offended when people out everyone they find attractive. I like him so much that he just must be gay. I would say that Williams is more theatrical than fem. Yes, he has played gay characters well, but he did go to Julliard. He should be able to act.

People grow apart..It happens everyday. Marriage is alot of work and it must be even harder in Hollywood..It's a shame as 19 years of marriage is nothing to sneeze at, thought they would have made it at this point of the game...

Is it true is robin gay? or is someone just saying he is is? I have always liked his movies but he does go overboard at times when being himself on talk shows.
I feel sorry for his children.

About twenty something years ago I was in Lahiena, Maui and who should I see but Robin Williams. What a sweetheart. He was sitting with a few elderly local gentlemen who were telling him stories and he was in no hurry with them. He was listening and being very respectful. We made eye contact and he just had the kindest look on his face. I will never forget it. I am a fan.

Umm...unlike everyone else who is criticizing Robin and his wife all I am gonna say is that is a pity they cannot work things out. Marriage is for better or worse...and things are never peachy keen. Seems when things get bad everyone these days just bails out of their marraiges. It is always too bad whenever a marriage fails. As for all you judging these two people like you know them...get a life and get real. Your life is most likely no better than Robins life with his family is. He is after all just another human being trying to make it in this lovely nasty world. I am sure all of you are just soooo much better and soooo much more perfect right? Yeah...that is what I thought. A bunch of losers who think their stuff don't stink but ready to judge and say nasty things about others. What else is new...........

HAVE NEVER LIKED HIM SINCE HE HAD THE AFFAIRE WITH HIS NANNY. HE IS FROM A VERY RICH FAMILY. IT MUST HAVE BEEN HARD FOR HIS MOTHER AND FATHER TO WATCH. HIS DRUG AND BOOZE HABITS MUST HAVE BEEN HARD TO INDURE BUT THE NANNY KNEW WHAT SHE WAS GETTING INTO. HE IS WHAT MOST WOULD CALL MANIC.

I like Robin as an actor/comedian. sometimes he overdoes it and just doesnt know when to stop.... as for the gay comment posted earlier.... I've always thought he was a gay man hiding in a marriage for his career... Lots of men who are gay are married... could explain the drugs and alcohol problems... trying to deal with issues he's just not ready to deal with. I feel bad for his kids. They are the ones who always suffer when it comes to a divorce.

Just because Mr Williams acts wild on stage and screen doesn't mean he is like that in private.

Hey, people gtow apart, lose interest and get divorced all the time. Why does it have to be either one's "fault". Some people just want to see dirt in everyone. Give them a break, famous people are just like everyone else. The only difference is maybe they can afford to get divorced easily.
