i think she was awesome in iron man. just b/c she doesn't open herself up to everyone and tries to kiss the ass of everyone who comes along so they'll pay attention to her doesn't mean she's a bad person. she has every right to her private life. did anyone really consider she left the states b/c her HUSBAND IS BRITISH and that she actually wants to BE WITH HIM?! are we so damned snobby that we think that EVERYONE wants to be HERE. the enlightened among us would know that love knows no country. and over there, she doesn't have to deal with our stalkerazzi. i don't blame her for leaving. if i had the money, i would, too. there's more to life then this country. a good patriot is someone who realizes and makes a point to get to know the rest of the world. they also question the powers that be and the status quo. they do what they can to make THE WORLD a better place. sure, it starts at home, but if you can make it a traveling gig, go for it! from the picture i see here, she looks hot 'bari

Wow! How nasty some people are! i never cease to be amazed at how low humanity can sink when they feel the need to put down others....the ugly and racist comments (from both blacks and whites) are horrible.....if you don't like her, you're entitled to your opinion, but i think making fun of how a person looks is mean, most of us aren't super models....and not talented? that's a matter of opinion re personal taste in movies and roles, but if you've seen shakespeare in love, the talented mr ripley, and great expectations, i think you might want to rethink your comment that she "can't act" or has "no talent." I'm sure this is mostly jealousy, because she is beautiful, talented, smart, rich, and has family connections....green isn't a good color for you little snots!

If I would have known that Paltrow who's ashamed that she is American was in the movie, I would not have spent the money on it, It's funny that she so called star of the movie (I thought Robert Downey Jr was billed as the STAR and why did they list her name 5th on the list of actors if she is the Star) did a pro patriotism movie, I guess when it comes to money she will put her hatred of America aside

I think She is just fine there's nothing wrong with her. Everyone needs to get off of her back she is a very sweet and genuine person( from what I've seen) I mean sowhat If Brits are "sophisticated" that means "old "America is young and Hip so I take no offense to that neither should anyone else..

You know she is still trying to undo the comments she made regarding the British being so much more interesting and sophisticated than the US. She lost major ground in those comments.
