I feel sorry for her to have such a loss at a young age with a young child to raise. His family does not live in the US so I dont know if his child will have time with his family........that is very sad.

I got so sick of seeing MKO picture every where ...... they knew each other so what it appears she knows half of NYC ....... people just love to add their own spin to a very sad story......

I findit so amazing that you see a star on the big screen and you love that star and WOW how wonderful this person is but when something as freaky as this happened to a human being you get morons that instead of saying something intelligent...lets not bash him ....this could have been anybody...it was a freak accident...sometime when you are sick and are just trying to shake the illness..you'll try anything..over the counter meds or even home remedies w/o thinking twice if it will counter act with the prescription that u r taking..this is all just so sad for him , hs fam. and especially his daughter...R.I.P. some of you are truly insensitive idiots! My ex and I have 2 kids together and have not been together as a couple in over 15 years but if anything were to happen to him, I would mourn him as much as I would my current spouse.

i wasn't talking about michelle and heath in my comment, you apparently didn't read beyond my last comment. i had made a comment originally to someone else who compared heath's death and what michelle is going thru to her husband leaving her and her son. i was saying nothing about michelle and heath's split or their daughter. the comment u tried to be smart about was the one i was replying to her again b/c she said grief is grief and i was letting her know it's not the same grief, b/c i would rather be left than for my husband to die. the next time u try to put someone's comment down, maybe u should read a little more. nice try though idiot!

Please don't hate on the celebs because they can take the time off to grieve. They don't work 9-5 jobs like most of us do and besides, they have the money to take the time off. If the movie production doesn't want to wait then one could always wait to be in anothe rmovie.

Don't hate on them because they have money. Perhaps you should become a star and you will have the same incentives that they do.

Cielo, most of us can't afford more than a couple of days. I'm sure lots of places would give more time (within reason), but the average Joe or Jane simply can't afford to be off without pay. So we trudge on. I'm glad Michelle is taking some time. I had a loss like this last year and I know what it's like. I'm still suffering, but I must continue to try to live my life. She will get better...she has lots to think about though because Matilda is his sole heir (unless he left a will leaving something to someone else) and Michelle is going to be in charge of the money. It's not as simple as going to a funeral and it's done.

my dad was diagnosed with a terminal illness, I needed a few days off, they saide take as long as you need to get stuff done, I did and I went back to work. Got fired!! So tell me what happens when my dad leaves this earth, I work through my greif!!!!

I'm sorry for the loss, but most of us only get a couple of days to grieve the loss of someone they love, yet movie stars get AN INDEFINITE PERIOD.

I guess they love more deeply than us regular people.

When my mom died I got one day off. Whatever!!!!

Report This! i would grieve if my husband left my children and me but would much rather that happen to have him die and never have the chance for us to see him ever again. i'm sorry ur husband left u and your son i feel bad for u for that reason b/c i know it would kill me if i were in that position, but it's difficult to deal with the fact that he's dead and they can never have the chance to see him or speak to him again. my dad died when i was 8 and it's been difficult growing up without him and i still grieve for him everyday and he died 22 years ago.

Do you really know much about this couple? They split up mutually and he didn't leave her. They also have a daughter together not a son. On a lighter note Michelle is in my thoughts and prayers as well as her daughter
