LOS ANGELES, (Feb. 23) - Eddie Murphy and Lindsay Lohan were named the worst actors of 2007 at the Golden Raspberry Awards Saturday for two movies that dominated the mock awards created to spoof the Oscars.

For their lack of acting prowess, the veteran comic and the young actress with the hard-living reputation each won three gold spray-painted Razzie trophies worth $4.89.

'I Know Who Killed Me,' starring Lindsay Lohan as Dakota Moss, won Worst Picture, Worst Remake or Rip-off, Worst Director, Worst Screenplay and Worst Excuse for a Horror Movie at the 2008 Razzies. The movie's $9 million take at the box office was a testament to its quality.

The awards are presented by the Golden Raspberry Foundation, which announced its winners one day before the sometimes pompous Academy Awards presentation ceremony.

Murphy, who starred in the critically savaged comedy "Norbit," set a record by winning three of the four worst acting categories. Still, moviegoers turned out for the film, which took in $158 million at worldwide box offices based mostly on Murphy's popularity.

Lohan won two worst actress awards for playing twins in "I Know Who Killed Me," a film that was named worst of the year.

She also won worst screen couple for a scene in which she appears opposite herself in the tale about psychically linked siblings stalked by a serial killer.

"I Know Who Killed Me," a major box office flop with $9 million worldwide, won eight of nine Raspberries for which it was nominated, breaking a record of seven wins previously held by "Showgirls" and "Battlefield Earth."

Lohan was in and out of rehabilitation programs last year and acknowledged last month that she had fallen off the wagon at a New Year's Eve party. In November, she served 84 minutes in jail for drunken driving and cocaine possession charges.

Murphy won the worst actor award for playing the hapless hero of "Norbit." He had several parts in the movie and also won worst supporting actor and actress Raspberries for roles as a Chinese man and Norbit's screaming overweight wife.

The comic actor earned an Oscar nomination for his dramatic turn as a troubled soul singer in 2006 musical "Dreamgirls" and some critics said the widespread distaste for "Norbit" -- which hit theaters only weeks before the Oscar ceremony -- cost him support for those prestigious awards.

Like Lohan, Murphy's personal life also made headlines last year when he acknowledged fathering a child out of wedlock with Spice Girls singer Melanie Brown. In January of this year, Murphy and his new wife, Tracey Edmonds, split just two weeks after getting married in French Polynesia.

Following is a list of this year's Razzie winners:
Worst Picture: "I Know Who Killed Me"

Worst Actor: Murphy in "Norbit"

Worst Actress (tie): Lohan as twin sisters Aubrey and Dakota in "I Know Who Killed Me"

Worst Supporting Actress: Murphy in "Norbit"

Worst Supporting Actor: Murphy in "Norbit"

Worst Screen Couple: Lohan & Lohan in "I Know Who Killed Me"

Worst Remake or Rip-off: "I Know Who Killed Me," based on several films

Worst Prequel or Sequel: "Daddy Day Camp"

Worst Director: Chris Siverston for "I Know Who Killed Me"

Worst Screenplay: Jeffrey Hammond for "I Know Who Killed Me"

Worst Excuse for a Horror Movie (New Category): "I Know Who Killed Me."

Its ridiculous to even consider a movie about Marilyn Monroe of all people. The woman has been dead almost 50 yrs and no one can get over it! She's in the paper and on tv all the time! So is John Kennedy and John Lennon! This isnt news! Its history! They're dead! Get over it! Move on! Its 2008 now!

PS........ that photographer should have done this already with the late blonde bombshell Anna Nicole Smith before her untimely death. THAT would have been worthy of being called "art". THAT would have been excellent. But sadly he waited too long, and then made a poor choice. These photos are at best mediocre. But hey, that's JMHO... (Oh well... with all the unwarranted press this is getting, at least he's making a ton of money to leave to his family.)

JMHO: I think Lindsay Lohan was a poor choice by the photographer for recreating anything by Marilyn Monroe. Lindsay does not have the physical curves required, does not have the sex appeal or the personality, she doesn't even exude "star quality". She's just a decent looking girl with a few good connections in Hollywood. Other than that, she's not talented or gifted in acting, singing, etc. Almost anyone could have posed for those MM shots and looked divine; especially with the wig, a professional makeup artist and airbrushing. IMHO, the photographer failed miserably. And now we are stuck with it until AOL realizes it's time to find some better news for us. As for NY Magazine, I think they have now officially lost the respect and readership of many people who are wondering why they are making such a big deal out of something so unworthy.

Not here to bash, just to give my honest opinion on the subject at hand: I think Lindsay Lohan was a poor choice by the photographer for recreating anything by Marilyn Monroe. Lindsay does not have the physical curves required, she does not have the sex appeal, she does not exide the personality, she doesn't even exude "star" quality. She's just a decent looking young lady who apparently has a few good connections in Hollywood. Other than that, she's not particularly talented in acting, singing or anything else. Almost anyone could have posed for those MM shots and looked divine -- especially with the wig, the professional makeup artist and the airbrushing. I think the photographer failed in his attempt to do something "great", and unfortunately now we are stuck with it until AOL News realizes it's time to find us some better news or photos to look at. As for NY Magazine, I think they have now officially lost the respect and readership of many people who are wondering why they are maki

you monitors are SICKENING -- God, go somewhere else for employment PLEASE == LOSERS.

The folly ball 09:53:29 PM Feb 24 2008

People who don't have "it" are forever trying to be like someone who does (e.g. Norma Jean Baker).

Any time a starlette bows so low as to try to immitate Marilyn Monroe (often poorly I might add) - it PROVES that they recognize that they don't have "it" -- or they have become insecure.

A real star blazes a trail -- they don't look to PROVE that they "could be like" ANYONE but themselves.

Makeup artists are fantastic these days -- but the allure of Monroe is her PERSON and SPIRIT and ANIMA -- NOT her looks alone.
