The Golden Compass movie didn't have one mention of religion. The Catholic Church always gets its fancy knickers in a twist over movies they deem anti religion but hide the pedophiles. Those guys in Rome in their outdated outrageously expensive clothes need to get out in the slums of India or South American or Africa and tell the world why they are against birth control. They don't want rape victims to be allowed to have abortions even after brutal rapes. Make no mistake rape is a brutal crime often involving not only the act of rape by the male but often foreign objects are used to brutalize women.

Even if the Golden Compass does take the religious aspects out of the movie like previously posted, to act in the movie or simply support it is the same thing as supporting what the books stand for where the children DO kill God in the end. I have lost all respect for Nicole Kidman as of now. She doesn't have an excuse. It's not like she needed the money or anything. Her previous miscarriages are a sad thing though and I do have sympathy for that.

Another article on AOL states confirmation of the pregnancy to include her spouse posting it on his website...what is her deal...denying the pregnancy then confirming the pregnancy...perhaps if she is concerned with the photogs and having a healthy baby perhaps she should have friends that can keep their mouths shut and drop out of the limelight...

why would she lie about it? I always thought tom was gay and she didn't have kids for obvious reasons. his first wife didn't either and suri probably belongs to someb ody else....i read some place where the baby Nichole had carried previously belonged to somebody else and he found out about it....
