Leeches are everywhere, our government is loaded with them. They strive in the fields of medicine, law and politics (not to mention car mechanics)

Leeches are also used to help heal after reattachment surgery. Usually in areas that don't have good blood flow such as the ear. It help draw the blood into the tissues to keep the ear alive and help it heal.
She's crazy if she thinks it will detoxify her. bds6553: you're right about the anti-coagulant. If she uses enough leeches, she could, potentially, have a bleeding problem.

If this is true about the leeches, she has really gone BONKERS! Leeches ARE used medicinally, but not to "cleanse" the body or blood! They release an anti coagulant, and are used in wound therapy to "clean up" wounds medically.
This girl is a nut case, and always has been. She is off the wall. Just another foolish Hollywood fad. It's not a funny prank, if indeed it is a PRANK, and that Ashton is a juvenille, little boy.. that she married a man half her age. Just shows her mentality. These ANTICS never cease to amaze me with those people.. who live in California.......They are really over the top!
