Cotillard's 9/11 Quotes Back to Haunt Her

(March 3) -- French actress Marion Cotillard was riding high in late February following her Oscar win for her role as Edith Piaf in 'La Vie en Rose' as well as her touching acceptance speech. Old quotes, however, have taken much of the wind out of her sails.

Faster than you can say Oscar, media outlets began to dig up an interview from February 2007 in which she questions whether the September 11 terrorist attacks were a conspiracy. She's since backtracked on the comments, London's Telegraph reports, saying the remarks were taken "out of context."

In the 2007 interview, Cotillard said that she believed the public was "lied to about a number of things" regarding the 9/11 attacks. She even hinted that the U.S. destroyed the Twin Towers so that they could rebuild them -- referring to the buildings as a "money sucker."

The 9/11 attacks weren't the only conspiracy discussed. During the same interview, Cotillard questions the 1969 moon landing, asking: "Did a man really walk on the Moon? I saw plenty of documentaries on it, and I really wondered. And in any case I don't believe all they tell me, that's for sure."

The scandal comes just as Cotillard is set to begin filming 'Public Enemies' with Johnny Depp, which would be her first major American role.

Average Joe will never know what happened that day. I remember things that members of this administration said before 9/11 that makes my skin crawl looking back. But I would be sick and die before my time if I dwell on what might have happened. I will say based on what I know as a New Yorker the average folks of this country do not know how many ways they were being manipulated by the press....especially about Guiulliani's so called leadership, and the G.Bush ' stay loyal to the party or else" manipulation program. They don't know because the media is bought and paid for by special interests. We can't undo the tragic events of that day, but we must stop the political exploitations.

It's horrible to think our government had foreknowledge of the 9/11 attacks, but they did - from at least 10 other countries. Look it up if you don't believe me.
Before you attack this woman, why not think rethink the attacks. Watch the videos, tell me if you see any raging fires below where the planes hit. Why aren't the windows blown out all through the building with flames shooting out - that's what you'd need to have a 3,000 degree inferno. Quarter mile tall buildings don't fully collapse in ten seconds unless their supports have been cut. Falling concrete doesn't just magically turn into dust, but it did in all three towers, even tower 7, which wasn't even hit by a plane. If the buildings just collapsed, why were beams thrown hundreds of feet outward? Why did tower 7 fall exactly like the other two towers when it wasn't hit by a plane?

Whoa! I realize that the government has tried to cover up things in the past, but to think that the government intentionally blew up the trade centers is absurd. That event alone caused a dramatic affect in the economy, and changed security procedures forever. Therefore please stop drinking the koolaid of some left wing nut jobs and use common sense. In the modern age of media coverups always get exposed, maybe not at that moment, but in a relatively short period of time. Think things through rationally and have an educated anwser.

Yes, Andrews Air Force Base was a mere 10 miles from Washington. So, nothing could have been done to protect the Pentagon - of all buildings - a whopping one hour after the first WTC strike?!

Dear Friends; I am sooo sickkk of thisss!!! BUT! why does so many thing's make some sense??? Kennedy was shot from in front! If you watch Jackie jump up, she is going to get the chunk of brain that was blown out, toward the rear on the trunk!!! Then his brain was stolen, WHY!!! I just saw a different angle today on the assination and saw how big it was from the shadow it cast from the front view! I'm not obsessed with these thing's I just happened to see this today and now this on the net! Why not point the Hubble at the moon and look for the thing's we left on the surface? Would'ent that answer that??? There are some things that can be done to get answer's like looking for the flag we left, right? What is bad though is that with the WTC, you can't do that because there are too many YES! answer's. Please tell me I am crazy and this is not true!!!
