Jack Black
Cast In: 'School of Rock 2'
About the Role: Jack Black just wants to 'Rock.' The 'Kung Fu Panda' and 'Tropic Thunder' star will reprise his role as substitue teacher/rock star wannabe Dewey Finn in a sequel to the hit 2003 comedy. Director Richard Linklater and writer Mike White also return.

Based on the best-selling novel by Ira Levin ("The Stepford Wives"), "Rosemary's Baby" was adapted into a chilling 1968 film directed by Roman Polanski and starring Mia Farrow, John Cassevetes and Ruth Gordon, who won an Oscar for her role.

In the story, a husband and wife move into a Gothic New York apartment building and befriend their elderly neighbors. When the woman becomes mysteriously pregnant, she learns that her neighbors belong to a coven of witches, with whom her husband has made a deal to ensure a successful career. And, as a result of this deal, she's now incubating Satan's spawn.

I hate it when people say that new movies will ruin classics. Even if this movie isnt as good as the original... im sure the original will still be as good as the original. I personally like to see things done by different casts and crews. There are so many ways any script can be brought to life!

The original was horrible. Whyever would they look to butcher it further by remaking it?

Someone needs to ban Micaheal Bay from EVER making another film. Everything he touches turns to crap. WHY WHY WHY do you need to remake something that was perfect the first time? Polanski's version is artful and so wonderfully constructed that even though it leaves Satan and the spawn to your imagination, it's still suspenseful and scary. This is probably going to be some stupid gore-fest peice of crap, and I'm so sad it's being made.
