Much different than Jack's Joker, and far more DEemonic as opposed to Comic...

This was truly a great movie!!! I'm glad they remade Batman, especially after that abomination movie called batman and Robin, in which they screwed up the story and batgirl, bane and poison ivy were truly horrible. The only hero in that movie I liked was Robin. THE DARK KNIGHT IS AWESOME. THE MOVIE MAY BE A LITTLE LONG BUT IT IS WORTH IT.

I thought the movie was great!!! I will definitely make the trip to Dallas to see this again @ the IMAX theatre instead.Heath Ledger's performance dominated the movie. I liked the original version of the Joker, but this films Joker was definitely the challenge that Batman needed to make this movie what it is. Great!

So many different comments, I have respect for the people who post their comments and express themself, isnt' that the reason for this section? I saw the movie and I think is OK, but Ledger performance I liked it!.Saviourofdeath thinks he is a movie critic and in his mind he probably think is better than the rest of the world.- People...if you liked the movie or not, you're welcome to share what you think.

I saw the movie today. it was good but did not live up to all the hype.
Sarch5 09:07:32 PM Jul 21 2008
I liked the movie but only saw it because of Heath but I liked to think I would have seen it even if he had the chance to promote it( considering I have seen almost all of Heath movies JUST because he was in them) although Gary olman was pretty good too. I agree with Luvmykidso and Bowziie. GREAT JOB CAST and CREW of THE DARK KNIGHT

Batman movies have ALWAYS broken box office records, even when they sucked! So I don't think Heaths death was a determining factor in the high sales. I do think it helps that this movie was actually fantastic, the best sequel Ive ever seen and to think this is the 6th Batman movie. I have to agree with some of our other posts, anyone with senseless hater comments is just looking for attention, this movie will withstand the test of time, change the bar on comic book films, (just like batman 1 did in 89) and continue to shine along with Heaths performance far beyond the reach of the lame comments posted here.

`I am sorry but I am sure his performance in this movie was as gifted as all the movies he has performed in. A very unique individual. Gifted actor. It is a shame he is not here to partake in the opening. He would have loved it.I am sure it is worth watching. Looking forward to seeing it myself.
Neandrdoll 07:56:37 PM Jul 21 2008
nothing will surpass his performance in "BrokeBack Mountain"...........THAT, was phenominal
Jedsil 07:50:56 PM Jul 21 2008
No disrespect to Heath Ledger, but the last thing in the world I want to see is another batman movie. Enough already.
Spudbays 07:48:52 PM Jul 21 2008
Boy, nothing like death to sell a movie. It's kind of sad if you think about it. Sure, the Batman movie would have been popular had heath ledger lived, but his death makes everyone want to see his "last film". I wished he hadn't died. It was such a waste of talent.
Bowziie 07:40:02 PM Jul 21 2008
We love you Heath! and I know you already know your movie is a hit! you're smiling down now. God bless you , up there!
