Actors will emerge from King's 'Mist'
02/21/07Marcia Gay Harden and Toby Jones have become enshrouded in "The Mist." Frank Darabont is directing Dimension Films' adaptation of the Stephen King novella (Daily Variety, Oct. 19). Production has begun shooting. Story revolves around a group of people who hole up in a supermarket after a deadly mist covers a town and unleashes a swarm of murderous critters.

10/18/06Dimension Films will turn Stephen King novella "The Mist" into a horror film, which Frank Darabont will direct from his own script. Thomas Jane is in talks to be part of the ensemble cast.Darabont, whose biggest hits were the King adaptations "The Shawshank Redemption" and "The Green Mile," has long been enshrouded in "The Mist."
