Connery will always be Bond #1, that almost goes without saying. But Craig is about the best Bond we've had since then. QoS looks to be a damn good film...can't wait to see it! (and yes, I own all the previous 21 films Never Say Never Again. I even have Sellers's Casino Royale!)
LOVE ALL THE JAMES BOND MOVIES AND WE ARE SO GLAD TO HEAR THAT AMY WINEHOUSE WILL BE SINGING THE THEME SONG. SHE IS ONE TALENTED SINGER.
CONNERY IS BOND....END OF STORY CRAIG IS PUSHING HARD FOR #2 BEHIND CONNERY..THERE'S A BIT OF STEVE MCQUEEN IN HIM...
As a Bond fanatic (own all 22 [including Never Say Never Again] on both VHS and DVD), I can honestly say that I am very pleased with the direction the franchise has decided to go with this reinvention. Daniel Craig is a tremendous actor and twice as much action this time around? I for one am pumped.
Sadly, Desmond Lewellyn who played the original "Q"has 'passed' but as fans that remember the former Monty Python front man John Cleese successfully assumed the role; albeit with more humor & sarcasm towards Bond in the last installments prior to Casino Royale.
Unfortunately Q is dead...in real life. Being as though they had the same guy playing Q in almost every James Bond movie up until his death...I don't think they could find someone else to play the part the same way.
this movie should be good. but there was no mention of Q, that was the only down side to casino royale. bond just isnt bond without Q.
