Is it just me, or does Anton Shugar look like one of the villans in an ol Scooby Doo episode?

The ending is clearer if you read the book. It was more focused on the conflict of the Sherrif (T.L. Jones)..about the violence and degradation (first thing that goes is the maam's and the sirs) of our society and his desire to just walk away.

I live in a remote part of Montana and I am going to be driving 145 miles (each way) to see this movie again! Its simply enthralling and overwhelming with chills and uncertainty to the MAX! Loved it the first time - will enjoy it more next time! This is a MUST SEE on the big screen! Sensational, entertaining and unusual. No clues to the plot from me though its so intriguing!

I had heard that the movie was good, but after reading the comments about the lack of a good ending, blood and gore...I'll stay home and watch the Godfather....again. TBet

This was the worst movie to put on the screen. Blood, gore, psychic nut, no real story plot other than a man going after another man's stolen like. No ending. I don't konw why the movie was made.....Is the ending simply that the bad guy gets away and easily? Let's fine a romantic comedy to write next. This movie made no sense.

Saw the movie twice!! It's scary, brilliant in a way that only the Coen Brothers could write it. I predict an Academy Award for the antagonist.

AH.... The Ending, the ending, the ending. As an Avid follower of the Coens, this was my Most Anticipated film in a few years. 1st viewing I was bothered by the ending. Having said that, within an hour all I could think about was what I saw, listened to, Laughed out loud at, and Loved about the film. I also notice that one reviewer feels as if TLJ as Bell will Not see his Father - "Later on down the road". But if you listen, as with Any Coen film... you'll be glad to know that he Will find his Father, siting by the fire. Fire from the horn whos light he could see in the dream as his Father road on ahead. He'll be there. Movies don't get any better than this. No cheap tricks like a cat screetching as it jumps from a closet during a long silet walk. The Laughs will be from the Heart. And your Heart will stop at times from your Mind, not your ears. Beautifully shot, perfectly cast and acted. And as expected, the script is Pure Genius
