Medusa Synopsis & Movie Info

Synopsis

According to ancient Greek mythology, Medusa would turn anyone who looked at her into stone. Director Yorgos Lazopoulos adds a corollary to this myth -- Medusa turns only men into stone. If a woman gazes at her, she becomes the new Medusa while the old one becomes a pile of sand. Hero Perseus is the leader of a gang whose criminal activities include breaking into homes. As fate might have it, one day they breaks into Medusa's home which results in strange statues appearing in the city. Medusa is a clever parody of Greek mythology. - Gönül Dönmez-Colin, All Movie Guide
