'La Vie En Rose' is the life story of Edith Piaf, the petite French singer known as La Môme Piaf (The Sparrow Kid) who would become a national icon. Her popularity during the Nazi occupation of France during World War II allowed her to be photographed with French prisoners of war, and to aid in their escape.
