This story goes back to World War II when Hannibal Lecter was a young child who miraculously survived a horrific childhood in Lithuania and then ended up getting adopted by his uncle in France. Hannibal, with the help of his uncle's wife, begins to heal but slowly discovers himself as a serial killer.
