Synopsis
Screenwriter Charlie Kaufman writes a script about himself writing a script. Based on his own real-life experience, Kaufman (played by Nicholas Cage) is struggling to adapt Susan Orleans novel The Orchid Thief and failing miserably. Overwhelmed by feelings of inadequacy, Kaufman seeks out the source: Orlean (Meryl Streep) and the orchid thief himself (Chris Cooper). -
