What the Movie's About: The tempestuous early days of the CIA unfold through the eyes of Edward Wilson (Damon), an Agency founder and Cold War operative. As Wilson is drawn deeper and deeper into a tangled web of international espionage, it becomes clear that the price of his actions may be a sacrifice greater than he can bear.
'Good' Times: The Cold War -- a period in history marked by paranoia and the constant dread of nuclear war -- gave birth to the CIA, an agency wrought by men willing to sacrifice their very souls for America.
