When the Man of Steel (Brandon Routh) returns from a mysterious absence, he's stunned to learn that he's been forgotten like yesterday's garbage. Even worse, Lois Lane (Kate Bosworth) has kicked him to the curb in favor of Richard White (James Marsden), the nephew of their boss Perry (Frank Langella). But Superman's nemesis, Lex Luthor (Kevin Spacey), is still plotting to bring him down -- so at least some things never change. Bryan Singer ('X-Men' and 'X2') directs.
