Tyler Perry: You are watching Unscripted on Moviefone and AOL Black Voices. I'm Tyler Perry here with Janet Jackson, and we are going to talk about our brand new movie, 'Why Did I Get Married?' We're going to be taking some of your questions and answer some of each other's questions right?
Janet Jackson: Yes.
Tyler Perry: Alright lets go! What's the first question? This is Lorma from Jersey City, NJ, what was it about Tyler's film and this character that made you decide to take on this role?
Janet Jackson: I loved the script. I fell in love with the script.
Tyler Perry: And me? You love the script and you love me. Tell them Janet.
Janet Jackson: I loved your work and I loved the script and I fell in love with the character.
Tyler Perry: And you did a great job.
Janet Jackson: Thank you very much, Mr. Perry.

'Why Did I Get Married?' Premiere Pics
Janet Jackson: How did having a mega-star like Janet Jackson affect the balance of this talented ensemble cast?
Tyler Perry: Well working with Janet in this cast was if as Janet had laid aside superstar status and just came to work. It was unbelievable the way you decided to get in there and fight. I was very proud of how you came to work. No entourage, no diva status, no nothing. First one there, last one to leave.
Janet Jackson: Just my security, chef, trainer ...
Tyler Perry: Yes, yes, but I mean there wasn't you know 285,000 people with you every where you went and they didn't have to go before you and assess the situation. You know how that is ... a little madness.
Janet Jackson: Yes I do.
Tyler Perry: Unscripted. Unscripted question. What was the best part of 'Why Did I Get Married?'
Janet Jackson: Being able to work with the cast and yourself. That was probably the best part for me. Meeting a whole new group of people and I'm not so...I don't do that a lot as you know and the fun that I had on the set. Do you remember the day when we all hung out together during the set-ups and everyone was just chatting and Malik [Yoba] was singing on the side and everyone was cracking on one another ... I loved that because it was family at that moment, especially for myself. It was like being with my brothers and sisters.
Tyler Perry: Is that right? That's great. For me, it was a little bit chaos. I was like okay everyone I wanna get out ... No just kidding. I'm just kidding.
Janet Jackson: What is the biggest difference in directing drama versus comedy? Which do you find more challenging? That's from David in Alexandria.
Tyler Perry: I think about it for me ... anybody who has seen my movies ... I don't know the difference ... one minute I'm having a dramatic moment, the next I'm having a comedic moment. I've never had one where...even this movie, its hilarious at times but there is so much drama that goes along with it. They each have their place. I don't know if either is harder than the other but I love doing them both and I love mixing all the genres together.
Tyler Perry: If a complete stranger had a conversation with Tyler, what would be the first thing they would notice about him?
Janet Jackson: I think how tall you are, how big you are. It can be pretty intimidating if they didn't know you. How tall are you?
Tyler Perry: 6'6", 6'5" at times.
Janet Jackson: What do you mean at times?
Tyler Perry: If I'm standing up straight, it can be 6'6".
Janet Jackson: Oh okay.
Tyler Perry: Yeah, you are very tall. That's the first thing? Okay I'll take that. Unscripted question from Janet to Tyler.
Janet Jackson: Out of all the films you've done and all the plays you've done, which one have you enjoyed the most?
Tyler Perry: I'm supposed to say 'Why Did I Get Married?' because that is what we are talking about but the best time I've ever had was on tour with 'Madea Goes to Jail.' Best cast I've ever worked with on stage and the most fun I've ever had. Like you talk about that day in Whistler in the Cabin, I had those days everyday on the road for 380 shows. Why do I keep getting all of these weird names. Okay, from Marquita from Columbus, Ohio, what lessons from the movie have you applied to your personal relationships?
Janet Jackson: I think there are a lot of wonderful lessons in this film and especially with Patricia, the character. The work that you put into the relationship. I think a lot of people are so quick to give up and give in and call it quits. Marriage, relationships, they are a lot of work and they could be hard work at times. For me that's the lesson that really sticks with me.
